Silver Ships recently delivered an Ambar 800 workboat to TowBoatU.S. Barnegat Light located in Barnegat Light, New Jersey. The marine assist vessel’s main mission will be marine towing, salvaging and safeguarding recreational boaters in the Barnegat Bay area.

TowBoatU.S. Barnegat Light is dedicated to educating and protecting boaters through marine insurance and towing with the mission of making boating safer to the public. Silver Ships AM800 will help continue Barnegat Light’s marine service missions through its custom design and technology specific complete services. The 26-foot vessel is powered by twin Suzuki 300 outboard motors that reach speeds over 40 knots.

The AM800 is outfitted with a custom-designed walkaround cabin and Diamond Sea Glaze windows and doorsto prevent any occurrence of leaks, heavy-duty beaching plates and high-capacity deck drains. The vessel is also equipped with a Garmin autopilot navigation system that includes live sonar and radar displays, Rockford Fosgate 4-speaker stereo system with Fusion head unit, 30A Shore Power with SmartPlug technology, Mabru 12DV powered marine air conditioner and an installed de-watering pump.

TowBoatU.S. Barnegat Light offers numerous marine boating services with 24-hour service. Barnegat Light is ACAPT certified and provides services in marine towing, battery jumps, fuel delivery and more. This is the second of three Ambar 800 series workboats delivered to TowBoatU.S. Barnegat Light.
